1 Moreouer brethren, I declare vnto you the Gospel,
which I preached vnto you, which ye haue also receiued,
and wherein ye continue, 2 And whereby ye are saued, if ye keepe in
memorie, after what maner I preached it vnto you, except ye haue
beleeued in vaine. 3 For first of all, I deliuered vnto you that which I
receiued, how that Christ died for our sinnes, according to the
Scriptures, 4 And that He was buried, and that He arose the third day,
according to the Scriptures,
As Christene moet ons bly glo aan die
opstanding van Jesus Christus. Daar is deesdae baie organisasies wat
hulself as mede Christene beskou, maar geensins waarde heg of glo aan
die werklike fisiese opstanding van Jesus nie. Nee, hulle glo dat dit
maar net 'n simboliese verhaal is en dat ware gelowiges maar net voortgaan om
mitologie te glo.
Paulus maak dit egter baie goed duidelik dat
as ons nie glo aan 'n opgestane Christus nie, ons geloof waardeloos is.
Ons móét weet en glo dat, dit wat die Bybel vir ons oor Jesus se
kruisiging, dood en opstanding vertel, wáár is en dat ons dit kán en móét glo.
Hosea 6:

1 Come, and let vs returne to the
Lord: for He hath spoyled, and He will heale vs: He hath wounded vs, and
He will binde vs vp.
2 After two dayes will He reuiue vs, and in the third day
He will raise vs vp, and we shall liue in His sight.
3 Then shall we haue knowledge, and indeuour our selues to know the
Lord: His going forth is prepared as the morning, and He shall come vnto
vs as the raine, and as the latter raine vnto the earth.
